Join us for an exciting and educational adventure at one of our 2 day family Battle Bots weekend camps! This unique program is designed for a parent/adult/mentor and child to team up and explore the world of STEM while building and battling their own robotic creation. Kids will be learning about robotics through a guided process with experienced mentors and you their parent.
Kids get the opportunity to work with the WeDo Lego set to make different creations such as a Crocodile, Airplane, and Ferris Wheel. Programming, Construction, Team Work, Math, and Social skills are all things your student will learn at this week long STEM adventure.
Students will get to work on exploring simple machines, gears, wind energy, and mechanism using Lego. This course teaches basic STEM topics in an environment where kids get to connect, grow, and learn using one of the greatest toys on the planet. (2ND-3RD)
Campers get to work in with the EV3 Lego sets to build, program, and test their very own robot. Campers will work to create a robot to complete tasks based off of this years FLL competition table. (4TH-8TH)
Students will partner up to create their very own Lego battle bot to go head to head against other teams. Students will learn how to build competitive Lego robots while also learning team building and perseverance. (Most Popular Camp) (4TH-8TH)
As my kids grew up they never quite clicked with any sport we threw them in. After being introduced to FLL, a Lego robotic competition nationwide, I thought this would be the perfect opportunity for my kid to get involved. My son is now studying Software Engineering in college and is working on projects I couldn't even imagine. After seeing how much my son enjoyed robotics I decided to start a program for any kid to get involved and explore the world of STEM and robotics. We have had great results so far and it is incredible getting to see the light bulbs in kids' heads go off and see what kind of awesome creations they can make.
Many schools and libraries are constantly looking for a new and fun
activity for their students. Reaching out to your local schools and libraries
to see if they would be interested in hosting robotics camps is a great way
to involve your community and a great way to meet new friends. Send your
local school or library our contact information and we would love to
bring our camps home to you.
Either through email, call, or text contact us with your interest in a location and we will reach out with our program to see if we can host camps in a location near you.
